Welcome to FuelLog. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

FuelLog is operated by The Fuel Log LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We provide a macro and nutrition tracking tool accessible via web app and SMS text messaging at thefuellog.com.

2. Not Medical or Nutritional Advice

FuelLog is a general-purpose fitness and food tracking tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. We are not registered dietitians, nutritionists, or healthcare providers.

The macro estimates, calorie calculations, and nutritional data provided by FuelLog are generated automatically and may not be perfectly accurate. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have a medical condition.

Use of FuelLog is entirely at your own risk.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use FuelLog. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately at support@thefuellog.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
• One person per account — accounts are non-transferable.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

• FuelLog offers a free trial period followed by a paid subscription (Basic or Premium).
• Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

6. SMS Messaging (Premium)

• Premium subscribers may log meals and receive macro data via SMS text message.
• Standard carrier message and data rates may apply depending on your plan.
• By enabling SMS, you consent to receive automated text messages from FuelLog at the phone number you provide.
• Text STOP at any time to opt out of SMS messages.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use FuelLog for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to access, reverse engineer, or interfere with our systems
• Share your account with others or resell access
• Submit abusive, harmful, or fraudulent content

8. Accuracy of Data

Macro estimates are generated by AI and based on general nutritional databases. They are approximations only. FuelLog makes no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of nutritional data provided.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Fuel Log LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of FuelLog, including but not limited to health outcomes, data loss, or service interruptions.

Our total liability for any claim related to FuelLog shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of FuelLog after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict of law principles.
